Cuando escuché esta copla hace un par de semanas me quedé pensando: "¡Umm! Dido está especialmente rollo esta vez". La verdad es que la oí y la olvidé. Me gustó el clip de Cristiana Miranda, pero la canción me aburría un poco.Hace un par de días he vuelto a escuchar el CD entero y aunque sigo pensando que es un poco pesado en ocasiones, esta coplilla me ha empezado a resultar encantadora.
Dido tiene una estupenda voz como siempre, y el tono tan intimista en "The Day Before The Day" me ha empezado a agradar.
Este tema aparece en su último CD Safe Trip Home.

A mí me había pasado lo mismo con David Gilmour. Me compré su último, On an Island, y lo dejé guardadito porque me aburría...
... hasta que me encuentro un temazo de su primero en solitario, en 1978 (vamos, que probablemente ese disco tenga la culpa de los grandísimos enfrentamientos que tuvo el grupo Pink Floyd antes de hacer el Muro), el There's no way out of there...
Vamos, que no siempre hay que pensar en pesimistas (cosas como decir que va a salirle mal el disco, que si no va a tener el encanto de sus anteriores, que si aburre, que si tal, que si cual) cuando grandes artistas realizan nuevos discos. Y en esto por poder podría incluír a Mark Knopfler, a Paul Mcartney y un larguísimo etcétera.
