Más de uno pensará que para detestar como detesto los 80 (en realidad no sólo la música, sino también el cine, la moda, la televisión,...) en Emerald Lies no hago más que poner coplas de la época. Bien, esto tiene su explicación: es una especie de catarsis, de mostrar que aquello que se recuerda con agrado no tiene porque ser bueno tal y como cuentan los enamorados de esa etapa. Otras veces reconozco que lo que quiero es hacer sangre. Reirse es bueno, de todo y de todos (empezando por uno mismo) y, lo cierto es que muchas de esas bandas eran bastante de risa.

¿Y hoy qué? Pues hoy Fischer Z, la bando de John Watts, formada a finales de los 70 con un clásico de la época: "So Long" (1980). No es de lo peor, puede resultar incluso pegadizo, pero termina siendo cansino.
